The Correlation between Hand Function, Cognitive Function and Life Satisfaction of Elderly People over 60 years old Participating in Changwon Anti-aging Industry Fair

Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between cognitive function and handicap of elderly people aged 60 years and older and life satisfaction of the elderly who participated in the Changwon Anti - aging Industry Fair.

Method : Forty-nine elderly people aged 60 or older were used MoCA-K for cognitive function, Box &Block test for hand agility, and life satisfaction was assessed using the questionnaire for life satisfaction of the elderly. Pearson 's correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations between cognitive function, hand function and life satisfaction(p <0.05, p <0.01).

Result : Life Satisfaction(Life Satisfaction Scale) And cognitive function (MoCA-K) have no significant correlation with r = -.
084. There was no significant correlation between life satisfaction and hand function (BBT (Rt) and BBT (Lt)) (r= .174, r= .090) with respect to life satisfaction.

Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that there was no correlation between the hand function of the elderly and the cognitive function and life satisfaction. In the correlation study of future elderly life satisfaction, further study should be done to find the correlated factors by applying various factors such as social environment factors and Daily living ability et al.
